Bad Ideas in Woodworking Episode 6 / Workshop Fails

Here are my latest collection of shop safety things to avoid or things that have the potential to go wrong in the workshop ... not all ideas are good ideas and these fall into that bracket, like the workbench clamping extensions that could easily glue themselves to the wood that a novice woodworker might not think about, the push block on the other hand with the attached cabinet handle does have the potential to be dangerous, as does the poorly made, not well thought out log cutter for the bandsaw, and making throat plates from old laminate flooring will only ruin saw blades, and in box making, thinking ahead to the simple wording of cutting the bottom off instead of cutting the top off, often safer and often better results ...
