Summary:

* 2022 was the worst year on record for Bee Keeping worldwide, affecting honey stocks particularly in Europe.
* Stonefruits, cherries, passionfruits will be particularly affected.
* Don't buy Chinese honey.
* If we don't have bees we've got four years to live.
* There are 22 amino acids in honey.
* Honey contains vitamin bee (pardon the pun) and has good weight loss properties.
* Honey is good for high blood pressure, cancer, excema, your libido, brain activity and marinating steaks!
* One hive can produce between 50kg and 180kg of honey per season.
* Season usually starts in July.
* Bees DNA has not changed in 26,000 years.
* NSW govt killing bees and destroying hives due to 'varroa mite'. But they don't have to, it can be managed other ways.
* Government regulate honey must be irradiated before sale. (Do not buy commercially sold honey, ie: from the big supermarkets)
* European honey bees do not cross pollinate.
* Bees can sense bad health.
* Bees are creatures of habit.
* 5G affects bees navigation.
* Always leave honey for the bees.
* Thank the bees.
