Thailand’s new queen: From general to royalty

Thailand’s Queen Suthida was a former flight stewardess and became deputy commander of the king’s bodyguard unit before she married King Maha Vajiralongkorn on Wednesday (May 1). It was a surprise wedding which came days before the king’s coronation on Saturday.
