Oh how I love using a microwave kiln to make elegant jewelry! So many ways to make creative unique one of a kind jewelry and glass fusing projects!

Using a microwave kiln (link below), I placed the desired design layout of glass equaling 6mm thick. I placed the kiln lid onto and I microwaved this for 3 mins on my first round. Then I looked at the fusing process every 15-30 seconds to ensure it molds into a cabochon dome without any sharp grooves, each time using extreme caution with welder gloves on and safety glasses. You don't want to over microwave it because it can make the Dichroic fade and bubble for being nuked too long in t he microwave kiln. (every microwave has alternative timing periods, so you will need to practice and see what the correct timing pattern for your microwave). It is all apart of the learning process.

Please look at the suggested videos to show you how to cut glass and other suggested videos for crafts. COE96 glass is what I used in this video. I do 3 layers of glass (Dichroic side facing down in this video) when it comes to this size thickness glass that I am using and that is also in the description below.

1 Single Tile to put kiln on to cool:

Paint brush to brush up shards of glass:

-paper to glue on pieces of glass and then transfer to kiln paper
-scissors to cut the kiln paper to the size of kiln so the kiln lid doesn't knock off pieces
-container with water to rinse off bullseye paper after fused and cooled to the touch
