Grandma's potato soup, one-pot - German cuisine

There are thousands of recipes about grandma's potato soup and this is the one my grandma made. She passed it on to my mom and today I am cooking it ans probably my kids will go ahead doing the same. Who knows how old this simple one-pot recipe is.
