"The mRNA sequence can reverse transcribed into DNA," shared Dr. Henry Ealy. The CDC contests that it can't happen, but a Lund University study essentially proved it can.

So what makes some people more vulnerable than others? Dr. Henry Ealy believes it's because of methylation problems.

"If a person has problems methylating ... what happens then is their DNA is constantly in a state of vulnerability. ... It makes them very susceptible to genetic modification once that mRNA sequence has reverse transcribed into DNA."
