First, Kelly Hale had his appeal this week for being forced to close by Kingston Public Health. He is arguing there is no enforcement for the Reopening Ontario Act and the section 22 as it was applied is a violation of his rights under the Bill of Rights as there was use of force pushing this into a federal matter through section 25(1) of the Criminal Code. Kelly was in the house to share his testimony!

Rebecca had her trial last week for the Quarantine Act, and she did great! She covered off all the key points; violation of rights under the Bill regarding informed consent, privacy and equal treatment and protection of the law. AND challenged the enforcement of the Act by a peace officer and the inconsistent application of the Contraventions Act.
