Nintendo Cancelled Smash World Tour?!

Nintendo just shut down the Smash World Tour just days before its finals took place, and the question of “Why?” is being asked. The World Tour was set to kickoff in San Antonio Texas, with talent coming in from Japan, Mexico, Europe, and North America to crown a global champion. But the event organizer stated Nintendo reached out to them and forced them to shut down the event, claiming that all tournaments need to operate with a commercial license, and one wouldn’t be given to them, or for any event in 2023.
