You'll see some parts of my recent Horizon patch for the Children of Atom. I put together Church of Atom with Children of Atom Settlers plus my own tinkering to make a more thorough and cohesive CoA experience for Horizon.
I have FCOM in action with my CoA mod so you'll see some of the armor on the NPCs who are following me.

My modding direction is the make the game generally tougher but balanced, immersive, and lore friendly.

Carry weight is going as low and as realistic as possible. Settlements are slower to build. There is no recruitment beacon, just settler mods. Combat is more punishing, disease and rads are tougher. Hydration and Hunger are a little easier to manage.
