Iranian footballer’s former teammate shot dead in unrest

A human rights group says Mehran Samak was shot while honking his car horn to celebrate Iran’s loss to the USA in the World Cup. Team Melli player Saeed Ezatohali says Samak was a childhood teammate and that he found out about the death after the game.
