Luggage SMACKDOWN by airport luggage handlers

In this video that has gone viral on TikTok recently, luggage handlers that are unloading luggages from a Qantas flight somewhere in the world can be seen mishandling passengers luggages. This video, maybe recorded at Melbourne airport as per the original video description, shows two handlers working on unloading suitcases and backpacks but one of them is putting in some extra effort.Show more

Unfortunately that extra effort is not so that your luggage doesn’t get damaged. It’s quite the opposite. One of the workers is seen lifting luggages extra high so he can smack them down with full force. He is then repeating this for other pieces of luggage as well, smacking them down on the conveyor belt.

My tip to this crew member would be to put that extra effort of lifting and smacking down luggages into taking more care of it instead. It would take less energy, has less chance of job-related injuries and probably also let’s you keep your job. I know your pay is most likely sub-par but this is just taking revenge on a third party for that.
