A Bushcrafty Gladius?!

I had opportunity to get out in our winter wonder woodland to test out my new United Cutlery Combat Commander Gladiator Sword (that's a mouthful) for some rather unusual tasks. Yes, it's crazy, and that's just the odd way that I look at any emergency gear. No, it will never replace a conventional bushcraft blade for these tasks, but it performs surprisingly well for a large blade intended for something else entirely.
