My Favorite Christmas Gaming Gifts

I love Christmas, it is one of my favorite times of years. over the years I've gotten some truly memorable gaming-related gifts, and we're going to feature some of them over the month of December, 2022.

In 2018, we've been amazingly blessed with the new friends and supporters we've gotten to know. One of our earliest Patreon supporters, Jason, has not only been a financial supporter but he's sent in some
amazing gifts to the channel. He's sent us a custom Mega Man X7 SNES cart with LEDs that light up when the cart is powered on, an Everdrive, an audio-enhanced Model 2 Genesis with a prototype Time Trax cart, and even more

Well, Jason's outside himself this time. He had messaged me to let me know he was working on something special to send in for a Christmas surprise. I definitely had my curiosity piqued, knowing how amazing his gifts have been in the past. Well, he outdid himself.

Upon opening the box, I saw a disconnected LCD panel. it was rather large and had a few buttons soldered to it. Weird. Next, I opened the first gift wrapped box... and my jaw dropped. I've really been adding to my Sega collection lately, and Jason's helped a lot there. But this addition was a complete shocker as he sent me a Sega Nomad!

For those who don't know, the Sega Nomad is basically a portable Sega Genesis/Mega Drive with a color display. Not only did he send the Nomad, but he also installed an upgraded LCD display, and included a rechargeable battery pack. This was simply too much, words cannot properly express my gratitude!
