🇷🇺🇧🇾 Moscow and Minsk amend Russian-Belarusian interstate agreement on joint provision of regional security in the military sphere

🔹 On 3 December 2022 in Minsk, Russian and Belarusian defence ministers General of the Army Sergei Shoigu and Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin signed a protocol amending the interstate agreement on joint provision of regional security in the military sphere.

🔹 ‘The Republic of Belarus has been and remains our reliable partner. This is especially important today, amid unprecedented pressure from the collective West and an undeclared war against our countries,’ said Sergei Shoigu.

🔹 The head of the Russian military commended Belarus' determination to resist the hostile course of the United States and its allies, and its readiness to jointly ensure the military security of the Union State.

🔹 Sergei Shoigu also reminded that Russian and Belarusian troops assigned to the regional force grouping are being trained on the territory of Belarus.
