M&P Metal Frame with the Gen 1, 5" CORE slide. Will it work?

Several subscribers asked us if a 1.0 S&W, 5" ported slide would work with the new 2.0 Metal frame. Since the new M&P 2.0 Metal uses a "C.O.R.E" slide we gave the 2.0 metal frame a try with the 1.0 M&P 5" Ported Slide from S&W Performance Center. We were extremely please with the results.
