Biden administration plans to end public health emergency for monkeypox

The Biden administration plans to end its public health emergency declaration for monkey pox.

The Department of Health and Human Services confirms it will not renew the declaration and it will come to an end on January 31st of next year.

HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra says the department will continue to monitor the disease's progress and get vaccines to people who need them.
