Florida Medical Boards Decision: Public Comments In Favor of Board Actions (Final Session)

On November 4, 2022 the Florida Board of Medicine and Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine held a joint meeting whose purpose was "discuss proposed draft rule language related to practice standards for the treatment of gender dysphoria." This was the final session for the issue.

During the meeting a period for public comment was held. Several individuals spoke out in favor of the actions of the board to limit the practice of medical and surgical interventions in minors with gender dysphoria. This is a compilation of all of the statements in favor of the actions of the board.
