Studying the Solar System's history, its formation and evolution, and the possibility of life beyond Earth is one of NASA's primary goals. Still, NASA is interested in learning about the formation of planetary systems orbiting other stars and the conditions under which such planets might support life. With about 100 billion stars in our galaxy and possibly another 100 billion galaxies of around the same size dispersed throughout the cosmos, few scientists think that Earth is the only home to life in the universe. The study of alien life, commonly known as exobiology or astrobiology, was practically dormant until fairly recently. Some of the conjectures it made were entertaining, but that was essentially all it could do. Are people still interested in knowing about the existence of alien life? Can alien life have any harmful impact on Earth? What’s the actual truth behind all this? Stay with us till the end of the video to know!
