Ngozi Fulani, a black British charity boss, has told the BBC she was repeatedly asked where she was "really" from at a royal reception by Lady Susan Hussey, Prince William's godmother. The late Queen's lady-in-waiting has since resigned. Dr Cindy McCreery from the University of Sydney tells The World the incident shows the monarchy “is not as modern and progressive as Charles and Camilla desperately want to present it as”.
