Paul Carrack of Squeeze and Mike and The Mechanics fame joins with One Hit Wonder Rex Smith and just like that the Segue City Special is up and on the rails which is more than can be said for the real railroads after what has happened in Washington this week...all those union guys always voted for the Democrats and this is their reward... Ours is to hit the beach again this weekend and soak up the sun and seafood... it's perfectly normal to run around in shorts and polo shirts when the high every day is in the Seventies and there's no snow...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
