Joan Mulvenna and her friends set up Politics In Pubs to help others to have the conversations that need to happen if we are to have a healthy democracy.

They are not affiliated to any political party or point of view - every opinion is just as valuable as the next.

Politics In Pubs is a group of people from across the political spectrum who:
- are interested in politics
- value the freedom to question and to speak openly
- want to play our part in the development of Britain

They meet monthly in North Manchester, usually on a Wednesday evening 7.30 to 9.30pm in a local pub - newcomers are always welcome and they are keen to support other groups. The more people meeting to talk about politics and ideas, the better!
