PROTESTS IN CHINA AND IRAN

On today's "Freedom Friday" episode, Tara and Stephanie talk about the protests taking place throughout China, sparked by the government's zero-COVID lockdown policies, which resulted in the deaths of several people who were unable to escape an apartment fire. They also address the ongoing protests taking place in Iran over the past few months, due to the controversial death of a 22-year old woman who was arrested for not wearing her hijab correctly, brutally beaten, and then died in the custody of Iranian law enforcement.
