Alastair was taught the didgeridoo by aboriginal elders in Arnhem land, in the Northern Territory of Australia. he is a highly respected teacher of the instrument and has performed for such people as the Dalai Lama, Prof. Suzuki, Rolf Harris and Burnum Burnum.

He joined in the program by aboriginal friends who show how a didgeridoo is made and decorated. They also show a traditional aboriginal dance accompanied by Alastair on the didgeridoo.
