The Russian Aerospace Forces have launched a new missile defense system at the Sary-Shagan

At the Sary-Shagan training ground of the Strategic Missile Forces (Republic of Kazakhstan), the combat crew of the air and missile defense forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces successfully conducted another test launch of a new missile of the Russian anti-missile defense system (ABM).

Major General Sergei Grabchuk, commander of the anti-missile defense formation of the Aerospace Forces, during the event, said that “after a series of tests, the new missile defense system confirmed the laid down characteristics, and the combat crews successfully completed the task, hitting the conditional target with the specified accuracy.”

The anti-missile defense system is in service with the Aerospace Forces and is designed to protect against air and space attacks.
