On Capitol Hill, the U.S. Senate has just voted to send legislation intended to prevent a national railworkers' strike to President Biden's desk for a signature. The House passed the legislation just days ago after the president spoke out and asked Congress to take action. Biden is expected to approve the legislation presently.
