Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has slammed the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe as it opens its annual meeting in Poland -- without him in attendance.

He accused the OSCE of being anti-Russian after host country Poland banned him from the conference, despite Russia being a member state. The meeting opened in Lodz, with strong denunciations of Russia's war against Ukraine. The war has been one of the biggest challenges to the group since it was founded nearly 50 years ago.
