Lorena Cantarovici came to the United States in 2016 with $300 in her pocket and a whole lot of passion. Today she shares her rich Argentinian culture and cuisine at her restaurants, Maria Empanada, where patrons can enjoy empanadas, alfajores, and of course- yerba mate. Her story is the perfect example of regeneration in not only each of our communities and cultures, but in ourselves as well.
