Warrant Officer Steve Leslie always wanted to work with dogs. He got his chance during his national service in the South African Navy. Then he joined the South African Railway Police where he became a patrol dog handler and later an explosives dog handler. In 1986, the Railway Police became part of the SA Police Force and he carried on becoming a legend in the newly established Search and Rescue Unit. In this episode, he tells us about his career which spanned 42 years. This is Episode 2 where we speak of specific cases relating to Search & Rescue.
