41 Songs Day 3 - "IS IT A CRIME" (vlog)

Two vlogs are getting recorded tonight bc two songs are getting done tonight, however I’m splitting it up bc I don’t wanna hit you with a fkn three hour video. Here’s a brief breakdown:

I share with you the story behind the song “Is It A Crime”, a song that was spawned during a conversation between myself and John McDowell, a friend I met at FloteFest in Texas a few months ago. A lot of ground gets covered here when it comes to what we MEAN when we ask that question- is it a crime- what is “IT”?

It is our authenticity. It is our opinion. It is our speech. It is our expression. It is our choice to live differently. It is our choice to own the responsibility of being a sovereign being, and the mess that comes along with that- how society reacts to that, the weird shit show of censorship one encounters (to this day still happening BTW- see my telegram for the fuckin latest) and the IRONY of me speaking on this, but not being able to be super specific on CERTAIN TOPICS in this video, because YouTube will remove it if I do. You cannot speak freely here.

But I said enough, and most of you if not all will be able to read between the lines. You cannot speak freely on any mainstream social platform anymore, and even in the alternative platforms, issues around censorship still pop up, it depends on the platform.
