Addiction among teens is becoming a growing concern. Nearly 600,000 12-to-17-year-olds are estimated to have used an illegal drug within the last 30 days, and an estimated more than 407,000 of them would meet the criteria for alcohol use disorder in the past year. In response, a growing number of school districts across the country are setting aside the time and space to help students facing addiction.
