Healing Drinks Update: Cold and Flu Season, Postpartum Healing, Coffee, and The Village

The postpartum period is very tender for moms, and we need all the support, rest, and nutrients we can get. One of the mistakes I made as a first-time mom was not acknowledging that, or taking the appropriate action to do that. I was hyper vigilant in my new role, and put myself on the back burner.

This lead to subclinical hypothyroidism, and being depleted in sex hormones. I was actually told I wouldn't have anymore children. I didn't believe that, and felt that something was happening at the root that needed fixed. Sure enough, I was depleted in many nutrients, had poor digestion, poor liver health, and didn't speak up for my needs.

After working with a holistic nutritionist, health coach, and chiropractor for a couple years, I became pregnant on my own. This happened twice!

One of the things that helped me build my nutrient stores and improve my digestion was incorporating healing drinks into my daily life. I want to share the recipes and advice with as many people as possible, so I created an ebook.
