Chinese astronauts complete first in orbit transfer to China's space station

Chinese astronauts have completed China's first in orbit transfer of crew aboard the Tiangong space station.

Known as Taikonauts, the transfer marks a historic moment for China's as it looks to establish itself as a serious contender for space exploration.

Tiangong will be the second permanently inhabited outpost in orbit, following the Nasa led International Space Station.
