The Best Hiking Trail in Scotland: Corrour to Spean Bridge

This video is mixed with live video and pictures of my hike from Corrour train station to Corriechoille in Spean Bridge.
To start I caught the train from Spean Bridge train station to Corrour.
The scenery on just the train journey alone is amazing.
The great thing is once you arrive at Corrour station there is a restaurant which serves good hot food and drink and Crabbies Ginger beer!!
There is even a hotel here at the station too.
Corrour station is a remote train station with no public road access, just a private road which belongs to the land owner which is not for public use so there are no taxis here and you cannot drive here. Only public access is by train, or foot.

This hike is beautiful and quite remote as you will hardly see anyone and it can get boggy in some parts and this is where trekking poles or walking sticks come in so handy as you can check where is decent enough to step without sinking into bog.
The paths do seem to disappear at some points but do pick up again.

Watching this video will show you the complete route to take.
There are turns offs which can lead you too Fort William, Kinlochleven which are sign posted.

Two bothies are passed, Creaguaineach Lodge which is closed and Lairig Leacach Bothy which is open.
On the final part of this hike you will pass The Wee Minister as you come down hill to Corriechoille.
My hike ends at Corriechoille but 2 miles further on will lead you into Spean Bridge village.
This hike was about 13 miles and will be about 15 miles if you go on further into Spean Bridge village.
