Liberty Conspiracy - US Preachers Start 'Pastor Story Hours' at Public Libraries 11-30-22

It sure does seem bizarre that folks who want to take their kids to a public library might have to face an unsettling “Drag Queen Story Hour” at the locale. But, when one digs into it, every taxpayer in the area has to face it, and funds the locale hosting it. This, of course, causes friction for those taxpayers who don’t want to fund such gatherings.

As a result, some Christian preachers have started their own “Pastor Story Hour” programs in Ohio and Arizona. Many traditionalists might find this to be a “silver lining” in the dark clouds of controversy that gather where the “Drag Queen” events meet. But this, also, can become controversial, because hidden in both events at the public libraries is the Tragedy of the Commons. It’s the presence of the polis, which forces people to pay for the library, thus forcing people to pay for things (like hosting, heating, sheltering for an hour) a “story time” they don’t like. The principle applies to all publicly-run spheres, and, in looking at this new story, we can take the lesson about the Tragedy of the Commons with us. Only freedom addresses this problem! Why not try it, we ask the boosters of collectivism… :) Thank you for watching!
