Retired priest burned beyond recognition

DailyKenn.com — Retired priest Otis Young, 71, was identified as one victim in a Covington, LA double killing. Reports say he had been bludgeoned, stabbed, and burned beyond recognition. 

A second person suffered the same fate and is believed to be pastoral assistant Ruth Prats.

Arrested was Antonio Donde Tyson.

According to wwltv.com, "In 1993, Tyson was sentenced to 40 years for Forcible Rape, 40 years for Armed Robbery, and 30 years for Aggravated Burglary, all to run concurrently."

He served 30 years before being released.
