New drug can slow the development of Alzheimer's

Scientists have spent 30 years finalising the Lecanemab treatment which can delay the decline in memory associated with Alzheimer's disease.

Following further testing, the drug company will apply for licencing in the US and could be fully accessible within "two to three years".
