While traveling through Tennessee as we retraced the Trail of Tears, we stopped at the Cherokee Memorial Park in Meigs County, TN. I don't think that we knew what we were in for, but this was an incredible place with lots of emotion.
The names listed on the plaques are the heads of families. So many names.
If you are in the area, you need to stop here!
