Age Of Empires 2 Italian Spam War

Game mode is Random Map. Hard AI, Tiny Map, and I'm cycling through the civs alphabetically. Inca last time, so Italian this time. Tried to apply pressure in the mid game, but mistakes were made and it goes late. Lost the advantage a few times, but never felt like I was in danger of losing. A couple times I felt like if I was playing a human it would've been my loss, but it's just the Hard AI and certain things trigger it in ways I don't quite understand.
