The Biden administration is making an urgent push to avoid a potential national rail strike. President Biden is asking Congress to immediately take up legislation to adopt a tentative deal on work contracts that some of the rail workers' unions have already rejected, saying that a rail strike would devastate the U.S. economy. Some experts are estimating that a rail strike would cost about $2 billion dollars per day.
