Welcome to Scot Plays #9, a video accompanying a Production Mixdown for the track "Osiris". I've started recording a new album which I'm going to call "Valley Of The Kings", as it's based on the kings, gods, religion and culture of ancient Egypt, and this is the fourth track to be worked on from this new album.

I hope you follow this channel! If you have been following, you've probably seen the videos for the tracks "Tutankhamun", "Akhenaten" and "Anubis", where I have been recording some live video of myself playing various guitar and/or bass tracks for the songs. During the recording of "Osiris", however, I came down with a very bad cold and was unable to really perform well on any kind of "live" recordings. So for this video, I've decided to take a different approach.

I've walked around our property here in eastern Kentucky on a totally gorgeous day today here in late November, and I just shot some video of the surroundings. Then I've set that video to the Production Mixdown of Osiris and annotated it with some software screenshots, doing my best to show at least some of the solos and chord progressions as written for this track. I hope you find it enjoyable!
