Isaiah 101 - Chapter 7a

The first half of Isaiah 7 begins the drama of a major attack on Jesus - which happens as Syria and the northern kingdom of Israel attempt to conquer Judah and put a usurper on the throne. Then we learn the mystery of Shear Yashub ('a remnant will return') What is the meaning of all of this and how is Jesus revealed? How do we see him in his death and resurrection? These are the spiritual mysteries we cherish.
