In this Episode we talk about how Hollywood "exaggerated" troupes have impacted masculinity over the years. We will examine misconceptions fueled by money and how they impact young men.

Sadly, no one is shocked by the title, Hollywood lying to us is basically them just breathing. There has been a lot of focus about women in the industry but we aren't discussing men.

Truthfully even as a youth minister I despised magazines and ads for the negative impact it had on the self image of the young women I worked with and never thought twice about the same thing happening to the boys I worked with.
It is impacting young men, it impacts us all. They like to leave out the facts about the cooks, nutritionist, coaches, trainers and the fact that they have time to facility it all. They don't talk about the mental and emotional impact that male actors go through constantly yo yoing their bodies or the way they are treated if they don't maintain perfection.
