Amazon Studios announced that they will be releasing 8-15 films in theaters per year. With the recent purchase of MGM Studios for $8.4 billion, they have the infrastructure start in 2023. Exhibitor stocks AMC, Imax, Cinemark and Marcus all rose in price.
