Law: developing an idea on individual rights ...
Please comment below on your thoughts towards this video. This is an idea I am developing. It is quite complex. The idea stems from my thoughts on originalism and its limitations revealed by a SCOTUS judge being harassed at a restaurant ... the conservative response of "you have a right to eat dinner" seemed to illustrate why the conceptual framework of "rights" and originalism is too limiting and leads to tyranny. This idea is potentially the lead in chapter to my next book, which is tentatively title Prepare! I thought I would let you in on how these ideas come into being. I asked my bud Ryan Belanger to come into my office so I could verbalize the idea. More on this later ...
