If you need head, eye and ear protection for your dogs there are three main manufacturers of this equipment in the canine world. Let’s a take looks at the pros and cons of each system and a side by side comparison. K9 Helm is still my overall choice in general for fit and durability. Dark Systems helmet has a lot of accessory items, but only fits the larger dogs well and doesn’t seem to be as tough. Rex Specs provides good eye and ear protection, has the largest size options, but provides little to no protection for the dog’s head.
