Kinesis Money: An Unboxing, A Review, Some Criticism, and Recommendations

I signed up for Kinesis Money, and I have words.

This is an intriguing platform that aims to meld the blockchain with physical gold and silver. In this video, I tell about my experience signing up and making my first trade. I list some of the best features (per my interests) and issue a couple of complaints (minor).

In the final analysis, I prefer my physical gold to be, well, physical. There are some practical considerations that drive me to have more physical silver than gold, but I still wanted to access the upside of gold. The hybrid approach that Kinesis offers instills confidence, as it has a 1 to 1 correspondence between their gold and silver 'tokens' and actual physical metals in their vaults.

Kinesis allows you to buy gold and silver via fiat currencies, but I bought mine using Bitcoin. Other cryptocurrencies, such as XRP, are available as well. Other fiat currencies are available too, for that matter.
