Chimney Rock National Monument
This rock is located in the United States. This site was home 2,000 ancient Pueblo Indians. The settlement included a Great House with round ceremonial rooms with 36 ground-floor rooms.

Jerash
This city is located in Jordan. This city is arguably the largest and best-preserved Roman city in the Middle East. During this cities history it has been under the control of two of the most powerful dynasties in the world, the Romans and the Persians.

Kilwa Kisiwani
This trading center is located in Tanzania and was one of the greatest cities the world has ever seen. The houses were built with coral. It also had a beautiful dome-chambered mosque.

Barriles
This site is located in Panama and is named after the stone barrels found on the site. It is one of the most famous archaeological sites in Panama. It used to be the socioceremonial center for around 1000 individuals.

La bastida
This city is located in Spain. This city was the most powerful Bronze Age city in Europe. This city has the necropolis of Remelluri where some 300 tombs are carved out of bare rock.

Lalibela
This site is located in Ethiopia. This site is one of the most important sacred sites of the Ethiopian Christian Orthodox religion. It is said that the first Ethiopian emperor took the Ark of the Covenant with him when he returned to Ethiopia. Saint Gebre Mesquel Lalibela wanted to create a a mystical site so he ordered the carving of eleven churches into the side of a mountain.

Rakhigarhi
This settlement is located in India. A recent excavation was conducted and they found 4 complete human skeletons. They also found pottery filled with grains and shell bangles surrounding the bodies. This is one of the most endangered ancient archaeological sites in the world.

Coba
This ancient city is located in Mexico and was home to the Mayan Civilization. This is the site of the first wooden town. Experts estimate that around 80% of this city is yet to be discovered.

Caral
This ancient city is located in Peru. This is one of the oldest cities in the Americas. The architectural patterns influenced nearly every subsequent civilization formed on the Pacific coast, this includes the Inca.

My son sanctuary
This site is located in Vietnam. This location was the Charn Dynasty capital. The Champa Kingdom ruled this area for nearly 800 years.
