Chinese astronaut Deng Qingming fulfils dream of going to space after nearly 25 years

Chinese astronaut Deng Qingming waited nearly 25 years before finally fulfilling his dream of travelling in space. Deng is part of a three-member crew on the Shenzhou 15, which will lift off on November 29, 2022. He had previously been a backup astronaut for the Shenzhou 9, 10, 11 and 14 missions. Deng and his two crew members will spend six months on board the Tiangong space station.
