And that’s an ongoing lesson for us - we can choose to fight or (try to) run away from our unexpected struggles OR surrender and open up to God’s divine help that can give us exactly what we need to make it through the hills and valleys of life. There’s also power in offering up our sufferings, giving our tears and scars meaning and purpose.
