World’s largest active volcano finally erupts after being on a ‘lowkey rumble’

Mauna Loa the world's largest active volcano located in Hawaii, has erupted for the first time in almost four decades.

Monash University Volcano Expert, Prof Ray Cas says Mauna Loa has been on a “lowkey rumble” for about two years.

“For the last two months or so, an eruption has been expected in a way,” Mr Cas said.
